Fun Family Session in Katy

I had such a blast when I met Linda and her family last Sunday for a super fun family photo session in Katy. It was the first session after COVID-19 happened and it was the perfect afternoon to capture some family fun.

I’ve known Linda for a few years now but I never had the pleasure of meeting her lovely girls, Allison and Ashley, and her sweet husband Pete. Linda had told me before our session that little Ashley is quite the goof ball so I was totally prepared to have a fun shooting. And let me tell you, we had plenty of it.

I think Allison and Ashley enjoyed their fun family session in this beautiful Katy park the most. I mean who doesn’t love a good old tickle fight? Or make mommy and daddy laugh with some silly faces? Or paint daddy’s face with imaginary finger paint? We even played several rounds of telephone. Oh yes, we did all that because that’s what family is all about – time spent together having fun and playing together.

All the fun, joy and laughters are the best part about family sessions. They lighten up my face and spark inspiration. And most importantly, they truly bring out your most genuine moments and smiles. But I also love all the little hugs and snuggles. The little moments. The closeness. Mommy being our role model, best friend and adviser while dad is our own family super hero, our protector.

Linda and Pete, Allison and Ashley – thank you very much for sharing these beautiful and genuine moments with me last Sunday. I will never forget our session and I hope we get to capture many more family memories.
