Cute and Super Sweet Cake Smash Session

Happy 1st birthday, Eli! I can’t believe you’re already one year old. It still feels like yesterday that I met with your mommy to take her maternity photos. And now here you are, conquering the world on your own two little feet.

Eli’s cute and super sweet cake smash session was an absolute blast. Tina had the great idea to go with a cookies and milk theme which I absolutely loved. And I wasn’t the only one who got hungry by the view of all these cookies – Eli was certainly more than happy to eat his way through the different cookie jars. But if I’m being honest with you, Tina, her family and I were even more excited to wrap up this shoot so we could have some cookies as well… hahahahaha. 

I loved the simple overall look Tina had picked for this session. It was also the first outfit she wore during our maternity session. And Eli looked adorable in his little overall as well. 

I had been able to document several cake smash sessions over the last years. These sessions are always fun because I just love watching these little ones stuff their faces with cake – so adorable. But Eli decided to do his cute and super sweet cake smash session a little differently. Instead of using his hands to have a first bite of his cake, he chose to explore the cake with his little feet first… hahahaha. Tina and I couldn’t stop laughing. But eventually he decided to use his hands and dug his little fingers right into the cake. 

At the end of our session, Eli took a nice cookies and milk bath to wrap up his first birthday celebrations. 

Eli and Tina, thank you for allowing me to come over and enjoy some yummy cookies with you. Eli, I wish you a wonderful birthday and all the best for this new year ahead of you. May it be filled with lots of fun adventures, laughter and joy.
