Golden Winter Engagement

What an eventful day. We started the day with shopping for a wedding dress for Emma and yes, she found THE one! Yay! (She’s going to look gorgeous – can’t wait to see Joseph’s face when she walks down the aisle later this year). And then we met right before sunset to capture this beautiful golden glow for their engagement session. 

Emma and Joseph aren’t just any young couple – they’re family. Many years ago, I spent my exchange year with Emma and the rest of her family. We had stayed in touch while I finished my education in Germany until I moved here  6 years ago. And now, Emma graduated from college, is about to start her first grown-up job and is engaged to this wonderful young man. And I was so honored and happy to capture this exciting chapter of her life.
