Love-soaked Wedding on Lake Travis

On March 14th, Nicole and Lowie celebrated their love-soaked wedding at the Oasis on Lake Travis. It was a beautiful day, despite the rain in the morning. But you know what they say, rain on your wedding day shall bring the couple good luck. And what can I say, they got the most beautiful sunset one could have ever asked for. I’m super excited to share some of my favorite highlights with you from Nicole and Lowie’s wedding on Lake Travis.

I met Nicole and Lowie last year in November for their engagement session at Enchanted Rock. I could immediately tell that these two loved each other so much. Nicole didn’t feel so well that day; it was really hot and we walked a lot. But Lowie took such good care of her, always looking out for her and making sure she was alright just like a real gentleman. Nicole is one lucky gal to have such a sweet and caring man on her side.

I was super excited to see Nicole and Lowie again for their wedding 4 months later. The day started at Nicole’s apartment to capture her stepping into her stunning dress before we met the rest of the wedding party at their church in Pflugerville. After the first kiss as a married couple was shared and rings exchanged, the party moved on to the Oasis on Lake Travis. The Oasis is such a fun and unique place and I was happy to be back to capture another wedding. All the clouds from the morning had disappeared and made way for the stunning colors of the sunset over Lake Travis. Nicole and Lowie’s love-soaked wedding celebrations on Lake Travis lasted until late a night. Everyone was dancing to the rhythm of the live parranda band and enjoyed the surprise flashmob organized by their friends. All in all, it was such a wonderful wedding day and I had such a great time dancing and capturing all the fun.
